2017 WHERE IT ALL STARTED

​APRIL
Every great story needs a beginning and, for us, that was April 2017 when Tempting Ventures opened its first London office and announced a minority investment from Hydrogen Group.

AUGUST
We launched our first brand, Tempting Talent, which focuses on the US Recruitment to Recruitment market.

SEPTEMBER
We invested in our second business, RO. As a start-up, RO began with a laser-like focus on the US Solar industry.

NOVEMBER
After two successful start-up launches, we shifted strategy and supported a management buyout of UK-based Uniting Ambition which are specialists in the UK tech sector. We helped Management to restructure and narrow the focus of the business, increasing profitability and presence across defined technology verticals.

2018 THE HARD WORK PAID OFF

​JANUARY
A month of exciting growth. We reported the Portfolio's first month's consolidated profit. Tempting Ventures, Tempting Talent and RO moved HQ to a larger office space in Eccleston Square, Victoria.

JULY
We launched Uniting Cloud, specialists in technical recruitment across specific verticals within Cloud technology. Based in the UK and covering the UK market, Uniting Cloud leveraged our network of UK offices and talent acquisition function to ramp up headcount quickly.

OCTOBER
For the first time, the Portfolio achieves £100k EBIT in a month.

2019 EXPLOSIVE GROWTH

APRIL
We invested in Eastward Partners, an established Executive Search Firm in New York.

SEPTEMBER
We launched Uniting Enterprise. A specialist recruitment business operating in the German market delivering SAP, HRIT and Workday professionals to global Enterprise clients.

Our Portfolio finished the second full year of trading with a headcount of 70, $27.5M sales, $7.5M NFI and $750,000 EBITDA

JANUARY
After massive success and growth within US Solar, RO expanded into other niche verticals across Clean Energy & Infrastructure within the US.

FEBRUARY
Tempting Talent opened an office in New York to support their growing client base and hiring demands from within the Portfolio.

MARCH - DECEMBER
As Covid-19 hit global markets, we collated all the expertise within the Portfolio and adapted our processes, technology and marketing behaviours to ensure we could still maintain our high levels of delivery to clients and candidates. After weathering the storm, we came out the other side a better business. We're super proud that across our Portfolio we were able to maintain 90% headcount for this period.

Despite the odds, in 2020 the Portfolio delivered $7.1M NFI and matched 2019 EBITDA of $750,000

2021 A RECORD BREAKING YEAR

JULY
Tempting Ventures hire a specialist personal brand consultant and a PR & Comms Manager to drive effective content strategies for businesses within the Portfolio.

SEPTEMBER
Ryan Cleland-Bogle was a keynote speaker at Hunt Scanlon's M&A Forum in New York.

NOVEMBER
Eastward Partners opened an office in Florida to support their growing Private Equity division.

Tempting Ventures finished the year with $30M in sales, $12M NFI and 250 contractors.

2022 U.S. GROWTH

APRIL
In conjunction with Tempting Talent and Hunt Scanlon, Tempting Ventures released the first extensive Compensation Report for the Staffing and Executive Search industry. Visit the Tempting Talent website to download your copy.

AUGUST
Tempting Ventures invests in Harba Solutions, an Indianapolis-based LifeScience staffing company that specializes in the niche scientific skill sets within BioTech, Pharmaceuticals, CRO, Diagnostics, Med Devices and Agriscience.

NOVEMBER
Uniting Enterprise, who recruit technical roles across SAP, HRIT and Workday, take their successful European business and expand into the US with a new team based in Palm Beach, Florida.

Tempting Ventures finished the year with $45M in sales, $20M NFI and $4M EBITDA.

SEIZING THE OPPORTUNITY in 2023

JANUARY
The portfolio expands it's US technology reach by launching new business Goliath Partners, a trading & financial technology recruitment firm that delivers Software specialists into equities, options, fixed income and crypto based in Miami.
